These are your most powerful weapon. Unfortunately there's only a limited supply, luckly sometimes you will be able to find 5 or 10 torpedoes in space that you can pick up by running over. You only have five torpedo launchers so if you have torpedoes but they won't fire it's probably just that you have to reload, so wait a few seconds.
